Project Description
IRMHUB is launching the EU’s first large-scale interregional Raw Material (RM) innovation pipeline, creating a Meta-Hub that integrates three decentralized RM Hubs. These hubs will focus on green supply, industrial symbiosis, and circular RM recovery, for materials critical in the energy, battery and electronics value chains.
IRMHUB will attract innovation investments in less developed EU regions with significant geological resources or RM recovery potential, enhancing their capacity in sustainable supply and circularity. A Social and Sustainable Investment Framework will guide investments to align with green objectives and EU resilience goals.

MNLT’s Role in the project
MNLT plays a key role in IRMHUB by leveraging its expertise in Innovation Management to support the regional hubs. MNLT is leading the roadmap development for regional hubs, conducting cross-regional value chain analyses and participating in the development of sustainable frameworks for raw material investment, focusing on embedding sustainability and social responsibility.
