Earlier this month, the 2nd IT4EST.i3 Replication Roadshow took place in Proenca-a-Nova, Portugal, bringing together 40+ on-site and online participants for a day of knowledge exchange around wildfire prevention and resilient forest management.

Co-organized by Florecha Forest Solutions SA and MNLT Innovations PC, the event connected technology providers, researchers and policymakers, showcasing how digital innovation can be translated into real-world forestry solutions.

The event kicked off with remarks by Mr. Carlos Amaral Netto (Florecha Forest Solutions SA) and Ms. Vasiliki Alexiou (MNLT Innovations PC) and an overview of the European Forest Test Bed Network by Mr. Jean Catry (Forestry France), highlighting its role in scaling innovation across regions. A keynote by Mr. Arlindo Santos showcased AGIF – Agência para a Gestão Integrada de Fogos Rurais, I.P.’s Rural Fires Information System, demonstrating how digital tools support coordinated fire prevention strategies.
