We are excited to spotlight three more inspiring mobility experiences from the MNLT Innovations team, within the CompSafeNano project — each one a valuable mix of scientific exchange, collaboration and personal growth across Europe.
🔬 Ms. Dimitra Papoulia, Jr. Project & Dissemination Manager, was hosted by the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale in Alessandria, Italy, and joined the Department of Sciences and Technological Innovation (DISIT) team to explore laboratory workflows and receive hands-on training in environmental toxicology, toxicogenomics and nano-informatics, while connecting MNLT’s sustainability perspective with the university’s scientific work.
We warmly thank Prof. Francesco Dondero, PhD and the entire UPO-DISIT team for the kind hospitality and valuable exchange.
💻 Dr. Eleni Psochia, Principal Investigator in our Innovation Business Planning Sector, visited Stockholms universitet in Stockholm, Sweden, where she engaged with the Department of Chemistry / Physical Chemistry division and gained first-hand exposure to computational modelling and molecular dynamics. Her visit created space for strong synergies and combined scientific dialogue with a warm Scandinavian welcome.
A special thank-you to Prof. Alexander Lyubartsev and the team for the inspiring collaboration and the memorable fika goodbye.
🧪 Ms. Dora Argyropoulou, Research Associate in MNLT’s Sustainability Sector, carried out her secondment at NILU in Kjeller, Norway, working with the Human Effect Laboratory (HELab) and engaging with NILU’s environmental impacts and sustainability group. Her stay focused on Safe-by-Design approaches and the integration of experimental and computational perspectives for safer nanomaterials innovation.
Thank you to Dr. Naouale El Yamani and the HELab team for the warm welcome and collaborative spirit.
All three secondments were also about new environments, new cultures and new ways of thinking — the kind of experiences that make European research and innovation stronger, more connected and more human.
At MNLT Innovations, we are proud to contribute to CompSafeNano, an EU-funded MSCA-RISE project coordinated by NovaMechanics Ltd, and to actively support initiatives like these that promote mobility, interdisciplinary exchange and meaningful collaboration across Europe.
Here’s to more journeys that turn knowledge into impact and collaboration into lasting value!
