Earlier this week, we kicked off the #ZEROSTEEL project, an ambitious initiative to transform #steel #production toward #carbonneutrality through #hydrogen and #renewable energy. Funded by the #HorizonEurope program and coordinated by TU Bergakademie Freiberg and Prof. Dr. Alexandros Charitos, ZEROSTEEL is ready to pave the way for sustainable steelmaking.

MNLT Innovations is thrilled to lead the Sustainability Work Package, where we’ll drive the project’s sustainability assessment and commercialization strategy. As the WP Leader, our team at MNLT will:
🔹 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐋𝐂𝐒𝐀) to assess the environmental and economic impact of ZEROSTEEL’s technologies.
🔹 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 for market entry, focusing on CAPEX, OPEX and financial viability.
🔹 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 to position ZEROSTEEL for growing demand in decarbonized materials.
