The IT4EST updates keep coming as the project advances its vision further. This time, the consortium is heading to France for the 4th iteration of the IT4EST Replication Roadshow Series, organized by Forestry France. On 23-24 September, we will join our project partners and invited experts at Clermont-Ferrand and Meymac, with activities extending into the Millevaches forest region.
The roadshow programme will combine focused knowledge exchange and hands-on field testing:
🔹 Day 1 | Forest Insights & Expert Exchange
Participants will visit forested areas and take part in dedicated discussions with forest experts, structured around three key themes: forest fire, sanitary risks and restoration. The day will create space for technology providers to present their solutions and connect them directly with real forestry needs.
🔹 Day 2 | From Discussion to Demonstration
The day will feature the roadshow’s main activities, including testing and technology validation, bringing IT4EST solutions into real field conditions. There will be live field demonstrations of:
🔥 Bonpet Slovakia’s BONPET Liquid for Forest Fires, showcasing an advanced solution for wildfire suppression and protection
🌲 Sebelo – AI outdoor fire sensors’s Terrestrial Fire Detector, demonstrating early fire detection under real forest conditions
This is exactly what the IT4EST Replication Roadshows are designed to do:
bring innovation out of the project environment and into the field, where technologies can be tested, discussed and challenged alongside the people who may ultimately use them.
At MNLT Innovations, we are proud to support the Roadshow series and IT4EST’s wider replication and deployment activities, helping connect project results with stakeholders, real operational environments and future uptake across European regions.
✨ Stay tuned for highlights from France!
