Last month, we joined our THERMOFIRE CBE-JU Project partners at NaturePlast’s facilities in Mondeville, France, for the project’s M36 Consortium Meeting and 2nd Project Review.
Over the two days, partners reviewed the latest technical development across the project and geared up for very constructive discussions. The project review meeting was an especially valuable opportunity to present the progress achieved so far, receive external feedback and reflect on the next steps with a renewed perspective.
At MNLT Innovations, we presented our work in leading THERMOFIRE’s IPR exploitation management and standardization activities. We shared progress on shaping the project’s exploitation pathway, including the identification of key exploitable results, IP and freedom-to-operate analysis and actions to connect the project’s innovation with relevant standardization and certification frameworks.
This work aims to support the project’s broader impact: helping novel bio-based fire-retardant composite solutions move closer to market uptake, while creating stronger links between technical development, regulatory alignment and future uptake.
We warmly thank NaturePlast for the kind hospitality and excellent organization throughout the meeting.
We look forward to keep building THERMOFIRE’s ambition, through meaningful collaboration and strong ideas!
