On 6-8 May 2026, the FOCAL Project European Clustering Event, co-organized by AICFD – International Association for Disruptive and Frontier Science and ITA · Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón, will bring together EU projects, innovation actors and public authorities in Zaragoza, Spain for three days of discussions around advanced technologies and digitalisation for climate action in agro-forestry and the blue economy.

📌 What to expect:
🔹 Day 1 – Foundations for Clustering
Discussions spanning EU strategy, digitalisation, public-private collaboration and real pilot experiences in agro-forestry climate action.
🔹 Day 2 – Clustering & Synergy Design
Thematic clustering sessions, poster exhibitions and roundtables, where EU projects will explore common challenges, map synergies and define next steps for future cooperation.
🔹 Day 3 – Pilot Site Visit in Aragon
Conclusion of the event with a visit to the Aragon region, linking digital solutions with real forest and climate resilience practice on the ground.
