In the past months, we had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Paniz B.Kazemian, PhD Candidate at the Department of Chemistry and Innovation for the Circular Economy, Università degli Studi di Torino, for a two-month research visit at MNLT Innovations.
During her stay, Paniz worked with our team on the sustainability assessment of lithium extraction and refining pathways, gaining hands-on experience in LCA, LCC, and Social-LCA applied to European lithium supply chains, through daily collaboration and the use of specialized tools and databases. Her work supported both the advancement of her PhD research and a meaningful exchange of sustainability know-how.
As part of her visit, she also delivered an internal presentation to the MNLT team, sharing her research approach and key findings, which will further feed into her PhD thesis.
We warmly thank her supervisor, Prof. Marcello Baricco, for the excellent collaboration and support of this research exchange, highlighting the value of academia-industry knowledge transfer.
Beyond the technical work, her time in Athens was also about building impactful connections, exchanging ideas, and experiencing a new research environment and culture—reflecting the true value of international scientific and knowledge exchange.
At MNLT Innovations, we actively encourage open collaboration and knowledge transfer and are always excited to welcome researchers, supporting scientific growth and real-world impact.
👏 We thank Ms. Paniz B.Kazemian for her enthusiasm and dedication and wish her every success. We look forward to future collaborations!
