On December 16th, we hosted the VOT3D.PLUS Final Seminar & Matchmaking Event at our premises in Athens โ a successful day full of rich discussions around 3D modelling, UAV integration, and sustainable ventilation practices, offering a powerful snapshot of how digital technologies are reshaping underground mining.
๐ค Distinguished speakers from across industry, research, and EU-funded initiatives shared insights and real-world use cases, sparking engaging discussions on advanced 3D data acquisition, AI- and CFD-driven ventilation optimisation, autonomous systems for mine safety, non-invasive CRM exploration, and geospatial decision-support solutions โ highlighting both the opportunities and challenges of digital mining technologies.
